AKIL KÜPÜ LIBRARIES ARE FULL TO CAPACITY AHEAD OF THE YKS EXAM

Thousands of students preparing for the YKS exam in June are showing intense interest in the Akıl Küpü Libraries brought to the district by Melikgazi Municipality.
Melikgazi Municipality Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, who values young people with pioneering services and investments in education, stated, "Our Akıl Küpü Libraries, which are exemplary projects in Turkey and that we have implemented for our youth, provide our students with a comfortable, safe, and high-quality environment to study in their own neighbourhoods. By saying 'Investing in youth means investing in the future,' we have brought 15 libraries to our district in 5 years. Our Akıl Küpü Libraries have become a living space where our youth can both study and socialize with various features such as private reading rooms, study areas, computer rooms, cafeterias, and group study areas. Currently, we have reached a membership of 45,000. We are pleased to see such intense interest in our libraries. The fact that our students are studying in a peaceful and comfortable environment also brings success along with it. We will realize our goals that will lead our country forward step by step with our young people.

Mayor Palancıoğlu, emphasizing that in addition to the Akıl Küpü Libraries, which make us the municipality with the highest investment in education in Turkey, new projects will also bring smiles to the faces of young people, continued his words as follows: "Education is always our priority. With the 21 schools and 15 Akıl Küpü Libraries we have brought to our district, we have succeeded in providing thousands of young people with a different perspective and contributing to education. In this term, our investments in education will continue without slowing down. Our projects such as Dahiler Koleji, our 24/7 Library, and our Knowledge Commercialization Centre, as well as our Children's University, which will leave a mark on Turkey, are on the way. Everything is for our young people. Service is from us, success is from you! I thank all the young people who have shown intense interest in our Akıl Küpü Libraries and who love studying and reading books; and I wish all the students who will take the exam success in advance."
