Documents Required for the Wedding
Dear citizens, you can contact our marriage officer department located in our municipal service building for marriage applications, marriage procedures and all your questions.
The documents requested for the Marriage Application are as follows
1. Five pictures (Civilian Face taken from the front, open)
2. Originals and photocopies of the identity card (in such a way as to show the last marital status of the person and will be with a photo)
3. Those who are 18 years old will receive a population registration sample by proxy. Divorced ladies need to wait 300 days to get married again or there will be a court decision. those who are 17 years old and 18 years old by a court decision can marry with the consent of their parents.
4. Identity cards must be illustrated, article 18 of the civil code.according to the article, identification without a picture is not acceptable.
5. The medical report will be completed by the marriage officer when the above documents are prepared and applied for and approved by the couples who will marry from their family doctors.
6. Ladies who want to use their maiden name should inform about this during the application.
Documents Requested from Foreign Citizens
1. Certificate of Marriageability (It is mandatory to have a signature seal and stamps obtained from the official authorities indicating that you are single).
2. Birth registration sample (Taken from the country of birth).
3. Passport or ID.
4. After the above documents have been prepared, certified translators must be explained in Turkish and approved by a notary.
Documents Requested from Citizens of Germany
1. Certificate of Marriageability (It is mandatory to have a signature seal and stamps obtained from the official authorities indicating that you are single).
2. An example of birth registration (Formula A).
3. Passport or ID.
4. After the above documents have been prepared, certified translators must be explained in Turkish and approved by a notary.
Documents Requested from Austrian Citizens

3. Passport or ID.
