Mayor of Melikgazi, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, Inspects on-Site the Construction of a 3-Kilometer Alternative Connection Road Linking Aşık Veysel Boulevard to Talas Boulevard.

After completing all the works and intersections, Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu stated that they will open the new connection road to traffic. He said, 'We have been working on this road for 2.5 years, which will make a significant contribution to Kayseri's transportation and traffic. The road connecting Talas Boulevard, Eşref Bitlis Avenue, and Aşiyan Boulevard is about to be completed. 'The road has an approximate cost of around 50 million Turkish Lira. The right side of the road is bordered by Erciyes University, while the left side is adjacent to Köşk Kışla. This road will connect Talas to the location of the Technopark. We are on the verge of completing a significant project. Additionally, we have constructed a culvert here for the drainage of water coming from Mount Erciyes. The culvert construction and our extensive concrete works have also been completed. I would like to express my gratitude to infrastructure institutions such as KASKİ, KCETAŞ, and Kayseri Gaz for their efforts in the project. We have completed all the infrastructure work in this area. Furthermore, we are also constructing a bicycle path to ensure the safe and comfortable use of bicycles by the young people at the university. Currently, our efforts are ongoing, and we will open our road to traffic after completing all the works and intersections. Wishing success and prosperity to all.
