MELIKGAZI'S SYMBOLIC LANDMARK, ÇARŞI MELIKGAZI, HAS STARTED LANDSCAPING WORK

Melikgazi Municipality has started landscaping work for the 'Çarşı Melikgazi' project, which will be one of Kayseri's iconic landmarks and is set to be the first of its kind in Türkiye , with similar examples found only in Europe.

Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, who stated that Çarşı Melikgazi, with its unique architecture and character, will remain one of Kayseri's signature works and continue to serve citizens for years to come, expressed his confidence that it will be greatly admired. He visited the site to review the ongoing work and said:
One of the most important projects that might set an example for Türkiye from Kayseri and Melikgazi is Çarşı Melikgazi. It will be a beautiful place where you can shop for food, open seven days a week, where your guests will be warmly welcomed. They will be able to buy fruits, vegetables, meat, and spices; even enjoy meals and snacks. Our project, which has examples only in Europe, will be the first of its kind in Türkiye. It’s a wonderful project that befits Kayseri. The interior work has been fully completed, and we are now starting on the exterior landscaping. We hope to inaugurate Çarşı Melikgazi together before the end of 2025. With its unique character and architecture, Çarşı Melikgazi will likely be admired for 50 or even 100 years to come. It will be beautiful in the evening and even more so on weekends. Çarşı Melikgazi will be a wonderful place for various events, live music, handicraft markets, and natural product markets. May it be a blessing for Melikgazi, Kayseri, and our country. We will invite guests from all over Türkiye to the opening. This place has become one of the most important symbols and signature landmarks that befit Kayseri and Melikgazi. We hope that Almighty Allah will grant us the opportunity to inaugurate it together.
