HEALTHY STREETS WITH MELIKGAZI MUNICIPALITY

Melikgazi Municipality is working on street improvement and road rehabilitation in many neighbourhoods of the district, and they are continuing their work in Germir Neighbourhood.
Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, who examined the street improvement and road rehabilitation work in Germir Neighbourhood, said: “Germir Neighbourhood has needed natural gas for a long time. Because it is a historic neighbourhood and there are registered buildings, some processes are a bit more difficult here. These processes are now finished. Infrastructure institutions, such as KASKİ, the electricity administration, and Kayserigaz are working here. 25% to 30% of the work is completed. The paving and asphalt work for the completed sections are continuing. Out of a 2.5-kilometer line, 800 meters will be cobblestone and the rest will be asphalt. I hope that with the completion of the first phase, a good project has started here. The infrastructure work is finished. To ensure that our citizens are not affected, we will continue our work in Germir Neighbourhood. I wish it will be beneficial,” he said.
Germir Neighbourhood Headman Ali Kapısız thanked Mayor Palancıoğlu for his hard work, saying, ‘I have been following your efforts for Germir Neighbourhood very closely. May Allah bless you, Mr. Mayor. Germir Neighbourhood is a historical site and very important for tourism. The infrastructure work on one of our streets is now finished. We thank you for your hard work for our neighbourhood.’
