VISIT FROM MAYOR PALANCIOĞLU TO MELIKGAZI DISTRICT GOVERNOR BÜLENT KARACAN

Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu visited Melikgazi District Governor Bülent Karacan, who has been appointed to Istanbul Beylikdüzü according to the Presidential Decree, and thanked him for their harmonious collaboration in providing services in Kayseri.
Highlighting the values added to Melikgazi through District Governor Bülent Karacan's outstanding work discipline, Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu stated, 'Today, we are bidding farewell to our colleague and esteemed District Governor Bülent Karacan, with whom we have worked together harmoniously for a long time in Melikgazi. We have accomplished significant services together, particularly during the pandemic and subsequent earthquake relief efforts outside Kayseri. We have collaborated hand in hand on numerous ground breakings, openings, and services for Melikgazi. We have worked in great harmony, and I thank him for that. I wish him success in his new role as District Governor of Istanbul Beylikdüzü. Bülent Karacan, accustomed to Kayseri due to his ties with Kozaklı, has devoted a significant part of his life to our city, and I thank him for his dedicated efforts for Kayseri and Melikgazi. I hope that we will have the opportunity to work together again. May Allah grant everyone such a good colleague. I extend my best wishes to him in his new role at Istanbul Beylikdüzü District Governorate.'

Expressing his gratitude to Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu for his gracious visits, District Governor Bülent Karacan stated, 'Throughout our term, we worked harmoniously, viewing each other as brothers, and accomplished significant projects together. I thank Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu for his important contributions, especially in education, health, and religious affairs. He has brought more schools to Melikgazi than any other municipality in Türkiye, nearly as many as the Ministry of National Education. He supported health clinics and provided assistance whenever we needed it on any issue. I extend my gratitude to him for his remarkable efforts. As our departure marks the beginning of a new reunion, I, too, consider myself partly from Kayseri due to being from Nevşehir Kozaklı. I came to Kayseri 27-28 years ago to study and now return to serve as district governor. Similarly, I graduated from Istanbul in 1997 and am returning after 27 years to serve as district governor. These are beautiful coincidences and memories. The place I will always return to is Kayseri. I hope our friendship with Mayor Palancıoğlu, whom my family also cherishes, lasts a lifetime. Mayor Palancıoğlu has a brother and an open door in Istanbul. We sincerely thank him.
