He was born in Felahiye district of Kayseri province, Kayapınar Town in 1964. He went to primary and secondary education in Kayapınar Town and high school in Kayseri High School. He completed his university education at Akdeniz University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering. After completing his military service as a reserve officer, he get a started his business in Taksan Takım Tezgahları San. Tic. A.Ş. In 1992, he started Melikgazi Municipality and he was appointed as the Machinery Supply Maintenance and Repair Manager (Formerly named as Directorate of Support Services) in 1999 . He is married and has a son and a daughter.
