Melikgazi Municipality continues to support middle school, high school, and university students who want to contribute to indigenous and national technologies by participating in the Aviation, Space and Technology Festival, TEKNOFEST.

Teams participating in TEKNOFEST, which will end on February 20, 2024, must apply to Melikgazi Municipality by March 15, Friday.

Mayor of Melikgazi Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, who said they would provide 2.5 million TL support to teams from Kayseri participating in TEKNOFEST in 2024, stated, "As Melikgazi Municipality, we provide support to education in many fields. We have provided tremendous support to middle school, high school, and university students producing and developing technology within the scope of TEKNOFEST for 2 years, and we continue to do so. In 2022, we provided 1 million TL support to 33 teams. Last year, in 2023, we provided 1.5 million TL support to 20 projects. This year, in 2024, we will provide 2.5 million TL support in Turkey's Century. Therefore, we will support the young people in middle school, high school, and university who will participate in TEKNOFEST. We will continue to support projects that will develop drones, UAVs, and all kinds of technology. Students who want to participate must apply by February 20. At the same time, to benefit from this support, you must apply to Melikgazi Municipality by March 15. The development of Kayseri and our country is extremely important. In this context, as Melikgazi Municipality, we provide all kinds of support for our students to develop technology and succeed. We are waiting for the applications of all our young people who want to participate in TEKNOFEST."
