Mayor Associate Professor Mustafa Palancıoğlu visited the end-of-year exhibition of MELMEK organized by Melikgazi Municipality and Melikgazi Şehit Hüseyin Danacı Public Education Directorate in collaboration with Melikgazi Municipality Şehit Hüseyin Danacı Public Education Directorate and KAYMEK.

Expressing gratitude to those who contributed to the exhibition where numerous beautiful handcrafted items were displayed, Mayor Palancıoğlu emphasized that art beautifies everything, stating, "Melikgazi Municipality places great importance on art, culture, and courses that develop hand skills. We provide various courses to our citizens through Melikgazi Municipality's Vocational Training Courses. Our MELMEK courses receive intense interest throughout the year. In courses such as sewing, embroidery, Marash embroidery, pearl bag making, copper relief, and many more, our citizens can both improve their hand skills and acquire a profession. Within this framework, handcrafted works of art created by MELMEK students and instructors throughout the year greeted us at the exhibition. Melikgazi Municipality hosted our MELMEK exhibition in the foyer area, welcoming visitors. Subsequently, we had the opportunity to visit the KAYMEK exhibition at the Kaymek Academy, where we could see products adorned with meticulous embroidery and hidden artistry in their textures up close. I extend my gratitude to Melikgazi Municipality, Melikgazi Şehit Hüseyin Danacı Public Education Directorate, MELMEK and KAYMEK instructors and students, and everyone involved in these beautiful exhibitions. I invite all our fellow citizens who wish to benefit from our MELMEK courses to join us in our classes."
