Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu visited the tomato paste production area in Kocatepe Neighbourhood of the Belsin Region and met with the residents. To prevent citizens from causing work, odour, and environmental pollution by making tomato paste in neighbourhood areas, and to provide a clean and proper space for them to make their paste, Mayor Palancıoğlu has set up tomato paste production areas in Belsin, Eskişehir Bağları, and Mimar Sinan Evliyalar Park. He received praise for these efforts and took the opportunity to chat with the citizens making their paste, wishing them ease and success.

Mayor Palancıoğlu stated that this year's "Tomato Paste Days," which Melikgazi Municipality organizes annually to serve thousands of citizens, has also seen high participation. He said, "For the past seven years, we have been serving our citizens as part of Tomato Paste Days. Not only residents from the Melikgazi Region but also from many other areas come here to make their paste and prepare for winter. Our Tomato Paste Days continue 24/7 for a month and a half. We are serving with 150 staff members. Our team works in three shifts: morning-noon, noon-night, and night-morning. They provide continuous service, handling everything from tomato peeling and cleaning to spraying, cleaning the pots, environmental clean up, and all other services. I thank all my colleagues for their hard work. Our citizens are very satisfied, and we hope for their prayers. Today is the last day of Tomato Paste Days in Kocatepe. We will continue for nine days in Eskişehir Bağları and then for 15 days in Evliyalar Park in Mimar Sinan Neighbourhood. In total, we will be providing service for nearly one and a half months. The participation is quite high, and each year the number increases; this year, we are setting a record. In just nine days, we served 900 families in Kocatepe. Our current reservations have exceeded 2,000. Last year, we served around 1,450 families; this year, we expect to exceed 2,500. Our citizens are very pleased with the Tomato Paste Days. May Allah keep our unity strong. We will continue to bring great services to Melikgazi.
