Melikgazi Municipality frequently makes headlines with its investments and services targeting youth in many neighbourhoods of the district. With the addition of 18 high-quality football fields to the district, it is winning the hearts of the youth.

Melikgazi Municipality Mayor Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu emphasized that they contribute to the youth's sports activities with 18 football fields in Melikgazi. He stated, "As Melikgazi Municipality, we are working with all our might to support our youth who will shape our future in cultural, physical, and social life; we give our youth the value they deserve.  It is gratifying for us to win the hearts of our youth by implementing various projects tailored to them in our district. As known, we have achieved record services in our district in a short period of 5 years. Among these services, we have implemented many projects specifically for our youth, and we are continuing our efforts with great diligence to complete our new projects as soon as possible and put them into service. We are aware of the undeniable importance of sporting activities for our youth to be well-equipped in various fields, confident, self-improving, and continuously developing individuals. In this context, a total of 18 football fields have been made available to our youth in neighbourhoods including TOKİ Democracy, 19 May, Kocatepe, Kazım Karabekir, Germir, Mimarsinan Fatih, Hisarcık, Gülük, Altınoluk, Yeşilyurt, Danişmentgazi, TOKİ Bahçelievler, Şirintepe, and Battalgazi. He stated, "Our youth are able to spend quality time on our football fields, while also using their energy productively and maintaining their health by staying away from negative habits. We will continue our services to encourage our youth towards sports activities, fostering their love for sports and proudly representing our country on the world stage. I wish all our youth a healthy and successful life.
