Melikgazi Municipality Mayor Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu announced that they will support 36 projects out of 81 that applied for support from Melikgazi Municipality to participate in TEKNOFEST, aiming to develop Turkey's national technologies.

Continuing his support for young people producing projects in the field of education, Melikgazi Municipality Mayor Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu stated, "We always support our young people who shape the future of Turkey, develop themselves, and produce projects as Melikgazi Municipality. We are continuing our record support to the young people producing projects for TEKNOFEST. In 2022, we provided 1 million TL of support to 33 teams, and in 2023, we supported a total of 20 projects with 1.5 million TL." In 2024, we are ready to provide a record amount of 2.5 million TL in technological support for our young people. In this context, a total of 81 projects appeared before the jury at the project evaluation meeting held in our Municipality Theatre Hall for those teams participating in TEKNOFEST, the Aviation and Space Technology Festival, which will be held in Adana this year and seeking support from us. Each of these projects was individually evaluated by the jury. Among the highly successful projects, 36 were selected, and the designated projects earned the right to receive material support from our municipality. I congratulate our winning teams and wish them success. I hope that we will achieve great results again this year. Melikgazi Municipality will provide a total of 2,500,000 TL worth of material support. I thank all the young people who applied with their beautiful ideas and projects and wish them continued success," said Palancıoğlu. 

Mayor Palancıoğlu expressed his belief that the selected projects will achieve great success at TEKNOFEST, stating that 20 of the teams that earned support are from universities, seven from high schools, and nine from elementary schools.
