Melikgazi Municipality announced that pre-applications for the qurban animal sales locations prepared for the upcoming Eid al-Adha, which will be observed between June 16th and 19th this year, would commence on May 20th.

Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu stated that preparations are ongoing rapidly to ensure that the qurban animal marketplaces serve the citizens in the best possible way.’Our preparations for the upcoming Eid al-Adha, which will be observed between June 16th and 19th this year, continue uninterrupted as Melikgazi Municipality. We are organizing the tent areas of the qurban animal sales locations in the Mimarsinan Organized Industrial Zone and the Beştepeler Region as part of maintenance and repair activities, conducting maintenance and repair of water lines, and continuing our efforts to enable our citizens to perform their religious duties in healthy environments. As Melikgazi Municipality, we provide the opportunity for our traders and citizens to buy and sell without causing any inconvenience by arranging our qurban animal marketplaces in the best possible way. We ensure that the animals to be sold as qurban animals are healthy, well-fed, have veterinary health reports, animal passports, transport permits, have received the protective vaccines determined by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, and are registered in the TÜRKVET registration system. In addition, animals meeting the criteria for qurban animals will be accepted into the market under the supervision of veterinarians from the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry.'" Mayor Palancıoğlu emphasized that traders wishing to sell at the qurban animal market must pre-register. '

Traders who will sell at the qurban animal markets need to pre-register by calling our hotline at 0 352 252 18 98 starting from May 20th to May 24th, 2024. Traders who pre-register can secure their spots by paying occupation fees at Mimar Sinan Qurban Animal Sales Location on Monday, May 27th, and at Beştepeler Qurban Animal Sales Location on Tuesday, May 28th. I wish all our citizens a blessed and safe holiday in advance.' It was noted that the slaughterhouse fee for large animals at the Mimar Sinan Qurban Animal Sales Location, managed by Melikgazi Municipality, is set at 2,500 TL, while the occupation fee for the qurban animal tents is determined as 5,000 TL.
