With the warming weather, Melikgazi Municipality has resumed its collective cleaning efforts in every neighbourhood of the district. Approximately 40 cleaning vehicles and numerous personnel have started the general spring cleaning in Selçuklu Neighbourhood.

Melikgazi Municipality Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, who stated that they will continue their cleaning efforts for a cleaner Melikgazi, said, "Students from Şehit Jandarma Komando Er Hacı Aydıncı Primary School also helped us with environmental cleaning. It makes us very happy to see our little children being so sensitive and enthusiastic about this." Today, with nearly 40 cleaning vehicles and numerous personnel, we will make Selçuklu Neighbourhood sparkle. With the arrival of spring, we will continue our annual collective cleaning efforts in our neighbourhoods, targeting one neighborhood each week. Our sweeping vehicles, excavators, garbage trucks, container washing vehicles, and various other machinery and teams will conduct a general environmental cleaning in our neighbourhood. In our general cleaning efforts in the neighbourhoods, we trim branches, collect garden waste, wash roads and trash containers, clean water channels, and sweep sidewalks and road edges. We should all take measures together for a cleaner, more hygienic, and healthier Melikgazi. Our teams will work here until evening, conducting a comprehensive cleaning operation.
