Melikgazi Municipality, which has completed the restoration works of the Mansion Madrasa witnessing 700 years, has started landscaping works.

The Mansion Madrasa will soon become a new venue for events, social, and cultural programs.

Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, stating that they reveal and repurpose historical structures out of respect for ancestors, said, 'We have completed the restoration of our Mansion Madrasa, which is over 700 years old, and started landscaping works. Inside the mausoleum located here lies Suli Pasha Hatun, the wife of Alâeddin Eretna, along with his son and grandson. This is truly an important point. We must remember them with mercy.'Alâeddin Eretna, the ruler of the Eretnid Principality. He was the commander who cleared Kayseri from the Mongols. We leased this place from our Regional Directorate of Foundations and completed its restoration. Now, with the new landscaping plants we have acquired, we will make our madrasa visually appealing by greening it. After completing this place, we are providing Kayseri with a new venue for events, social, and cultural programs. We remember our past with mercy. May heaven be their abode. We remember with mercy all our ancestors who opened the doors of these lands to the Turks and enabled them to live here. May heaven be their abode.
