A NEW LIVING AREA IS BEING ESTABLISHED IN BATTALGAZI NEIGHBORHOOD OF KAYSERI
11 December 2023

Examining the 2nd Phase Urban Transformation Area and apartments consisting of 23 blocks in Battalgazi Neighborhood, the Mayor of Melikgazi Municipality, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, gathered with urban transformation workers and had a meal together.

"17 out of the 23 blocks are rapidly rising."

Expressing that they have brought comfort to people in a short time by carrying out urban transformation in many neighborhoods in Melikgazi, Mayor Palancıoğlu stated, 'After inspecting the ongoing urban transformation buildings in Battalgazi Neighbourhood, we had lunch together with our urban transformation workers and had a chat. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my contractor friends who have played a significant role in the emergence of these buildings. May Allah keep our unity and togetherness everlasting. As a country, we have a lot of work ahead of us. It is gratifying to see these beautiful blocks emerge in less than a year. In the past, there were residences here without natural gas, sewage, and insulation. Currently, there is an extraordinary transformation-taking place. First and foremost, I would like to express my gratitude to our colleagues, contractors, and dedicated workers for their efforts and outstanding work in this transformation. In this area covering 100,000 square meters, a total of 23 blocks comprising 864 units of 2+1, 3+1, and 4+1 residences will be constructed. The construction of 17 blocks is progressing rapidly. We have restricted the floor heights here, reducing them to 9 . In doing so, we have initiated a new precedent. The construction of our earthquake-resistant residences near the city centre is advancing rapidly. I hope that our brothers and sisters who will reside here will do so in good health and tranquillity. Kayseri's new living space is emerging with all its social facilities. Our efforts to enhance the living spaces of our citizens will continue," he said.
