Roads for Transporters are Being Renewed

Expanding the road network in the district and repairing deteriorated roads, Melikgazi Municipality is conducting a new asphalt road project approximately 1 kilometre long at the Anbar Neighbourhood Transporters' Site.

Stating that they have been conducting significant efforts throughout the season to enhance the quality and comfort of transportation in Melikgazi, Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu mentioned, "We are undertaking projects to ensure that our citizens can travel comfortably and safely within the district. In this context, we have initiated asphalt work on approximately 1 kilometre of road in Anbar Neighbourhood, Nakliyeciler Site, and Ocak Street. We have also started projects for organized parking facilities, roads, sidewalks, and environmental landscaping at the Transporters' Site. Our district has made significant progress in the field of transportation. Upon completing the infrastructure, we swiftly apply hot asphalt on many new roads. Along with expanding roads, we are renewing the asphalt and superstructures of roads whose infrastructure has been completed in the best possible way." Our teams, responsible for repairing existing roads, are also asphalt paving the newly opened streets and avenues according to the urban plans. Following the designated plan and schedule, we meticulously continue road maintenance and repair works in neighbourhoods and streets. We aim to complete all roads in our program for this year as long as weather conditions permit. I hope that we will finish our work soon and make it available to our people. I express my gratitude to all the team members who have contributed to these efforts," said the mayor.
