Melikgazi Municipality's Village Market registrations will commence on Tuesday, June 25th, and will continue until Friday, June 28th, at 16:00. After the completion of applications, a lottery draw will be held on July 3rd and 4th.
Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu stated that they have initiated efforts to ensure citizens' access to healthy food products and to create a space where farmers can display their produce. 'We must sustain production. Our Village Market initiative, where farmers directly offer their products to citizens from the fields, has been greatly appreciated by our fellow citizens. Through this market, we support our producers and bring our people together with clean and organic food. We will continue our Village Market practice this year as well, where fresh and natural products are sold.'
To participate in our market, our producers need to apply to the Melikgazi Municipality Subservice Building Police Directorate with their Farmer Registration System (ÇKS) document obtained from the District Agriculture Directorate, one photograph, and a photocopy of their ID. After the completion of applications, we will organize a lottery draw on July 3rd and 4th to determine the participating producers in our market. We will open our Village Markets on Monday, July 8th.
