Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, who provides comfortable and secure housing to citizens through urban transformation projects in Melikgazi, stated that they have conducted a tender for a block consisting of 40 apartments and 2 shops in Yıldırım Beyazıt Neighbourhood, and continued as follows:

We have conducted another tender with our committee in our Yıldırım Beyazıt Urban Transformation Zone. We have awarded the tender for the construction of a block consisting of a total of 40 apartments and 2 shops. I wish success to our contractor company, our citizens, and the rightful owners. I hope that construction will start soonest and be completed within approximately 24 months. As Melikgazi Municipality, we are currently engaged in urban transformation projects across six different regions. We have successfully completed a major project in our Kazım Karabekir Neighbourhood as part of Phase 1 Urban Transformation, covering an area of 130,000 square meters with approximately 2,000 apartments and 120 shops. Schools, health centres, a marketplace, and a library have all been completed. Our residents are very satisfied with our efforts. Soon, we will conduct the tender for Phase 2 Urban Transformation in Kazım Karabekir, which has recently been approved by our President. Additionally, the construction of the six blocks we tendered in Yıldırım Beyazıt two years ago has been completed.

InshaAllah, we will soon deliver the properties to the rightful owners. I extend my thanks to all contractors for their excellent work. We have now completed the tender for Phase 2 projects, leaving only one tender for a project consisting of just two blocks. Once that is completed, the tender for Phase 2 of Yıldırım Beyazıt Urban Transformation will also be finished. In the coming days, we will announce new tenders in Çorakçılar, Kazım Karabekir, Küçük Ali, and Altınoluk neighbourhoods. We welcome all contractors to participate. Through Melikgazi Municipality, new homes are being built, providing our citizens with much safer living environments. I especially thank my colleagues for their hard work.
