Melikgazi Municipality is rapidly advancing with a road project designed to ease the city's traffic load. The project involves a 3-kilometer-long road, 15 meters wide, connecting Köşk Mahallesi Aşık Veysel Boulevard to Talas Boulevard. The asphalt laying process has begun. Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, who is closely monitoring the work in the area, stated, "Our new road arrangement will greatly relieve the city’s transportation.

In this period of increased need for new roads due to population growth, Melikgazi Municipality continues its efforts to ease traffic and provide comfortable transportation options for citizens. The municipality is nearing completion of a new road project that will connect Talas Boulevard to Teknopark (Aşık Veysel Boulevard), situated between Adnan Doğu Barracks and Erciyes University.

Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, who inspected the connection road project on-site, stated, "As Melikgazi Municipality, we have reached the final stage of a great project that will ease transportation and city traffic. We are connecting Talas Boulevard with Aşık Veysel Boulevard. To provide a detailed deion of the area where our work is ongoing, we are creating a connecting route from the area between Erciyes University and Köşk Barracks, as well as from the region near Mayagöz Hospital, to the back entrance of our university where Teknopark is located. We have invested significantly and carried out extensive work in this 3-kilometer area to ensure that citizens can use it effectively.

The blue section of the road will be designated as a bike lane, while the sidewalks on the right side will be for pedestrians. We have started the asphalt work and hope to complete the section up to Aşık Veysel Boulevard, where Teknopark is located, within a few days. Our Metropolitan Municipality is also working on new intersection arrangements for Talas Boulevard, Aşık Veysel Boulevard, and the exit gate of Erciyes University.
