2.5-kilometer Şükran Avenue has come into service

During the summer season, Melikgazi Municipality in Yıldırım Beyazıt Neighbourhood asphalted several connecting roads and completed intensive infrastructure and superstructure works on Şükran Avenue. The municipality has officially opened Şükran Avenue, a major route with a length of 2.5 kilometres and a width of 20 meters, extending up to Hulusi Akar Boulevard.

Stressing the principle of "Road is civilization," Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu stated that they have made transportation more comfortable and secure by constructing numerous new roads in the district. He said, "Our Yıldırım Beyazıt Neighbourhood is becoming more beautiful day by day. Through urban transformation, we are renewing informal settlements, opening up new roads, and providing infrastructure services." We have completed the new road on Şükran Avenue, which is 2.5 kilometres long and 20 meters wide, extending up to Hulusi Akar. Our teams have been working here since the summer months. We have invested significant effort, and both the infrastructure and superstructure have become much more qualified. With this new road, both Hulusi Akar Boulevard and Sami İpek Avenue have experienced relief. Transformation and change have truly begun to manifest in our Yıldırım Beyazıt Neighbourhood. In addition, our urban transformation project comprising 236 apartments in six blocks on Şükran Avenue is rapidly nearing completion. We have also constructed two new schools in this area. Additionally, we are building the Adem Tanç Mosque and Diyanet Education and Culture Centre. We have introduced new parks and roads, bringing various services to this area. In conjunction with our efforts in this neighbourhood, the face of Yıldırım Beyazıt will undergo a transformation. Our colleagues have put in tremendous effort in this region. I express my sincere gratitude to them for their outstanding work. I wish our new road to bring blessings to Kayseri and Melikgazi, said the mayor.
